Boy Scout Troop 746 Committee

The Committee meets on a rotating schedule.  The Troop Committee consists of adults, many of whom are parents of boys in the Troop. The Troop Committee is responsible for securing the proper adult leadership for the Troop and assisting the Scoutmaster in executing the Scouting program. The Troop Committee approves the overall Troop Program and provides administrative support.  Specific functions and responsibilities include troop finances, record keeping, individual advancement, planning and providing transportation, acquisition and maintenance of equipment and fundraising & planning for events. An ad hoc sub-committee of the Troop Committee also meets on Troop meeting nights to conduct Board's of Review for rank advancement from Tenderfoot to Life.  New parents are encouraged to join the Troop Committee.  Please speak with the Committee Chair about joining the Troop Committee.
